Hetta Glogg (Half Case- Set of 6)
Hetta puts a slight twist on the classic Nordic glogg, using both port wine from the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and California brandy. A generations-old blend of fruit and spices, including orange peels, raisins, cinnamon, and cardamom, is added to the port for about 10 days, until it begins to ferment. At that point the fruit is removed, the brandy is added, and the blend is heated to stop fermentation. The finished product is then bottled at 21.9% ABV and remains as shelf-stable as any alcoholic spirit, so no refrigeration is required after it’s opened.
