The bottle that we present to you is a truly rare, outstanding example of luxury tequila making. This will likely be the oldest aged tequila that you’ve tasted. Most extra-anejo tequilas (the oldest denomination) age for about three years — the Tequileño Reposado Rare is aged for six. Thanks to the unique, untraditional shape of the barrels, the wood has softened the sweet fruit of the agave rather than corrupted it (which one might expect after this much time spent in wood). The result is a luxurious harmony of butterscotch and the intrinsic vegetal sweetness of the Agave plant. This glorious tequila has been crafted at the same independent distillery that has been family-operated since its founding in 1959. Also included in your package is a one-night stay at Casa Salles, the new boutique hotel in the heart of Tequila. At your next opportunity, we highly suggest that you take advantage of this stay (perhaps extend it a few days) where the Tequileño team will show you firsthand the process of how the magic of tequila is made.

Originally intended to age for 15 months, Reposado Rare wound up spending six years in its pipon. The final product, the first of its kind, has all the elegance of an extra añejo without the dry oakiness that extra time in the barrel can impart, often obscuring the sweet agave flavors. With Reposado Rare, you’ll smell and taste the sweet, slightly vegetal notes of the cooked agave, along with luscious vanilla, marzipan, and a light, peppery spice from the oak, all in perfect harmony. This is a tequila meant to be sipped, contemplated, and savored. A strictly limited edition, each bottle of this unique tequila is numbered and signed.
Reposado Rare is a beautiful experience wherever you drink it, but nowhere more so than Casa Salles, the boutique hotel located on the grounds of the El Tequilieño distillery itself. See their special offer, included in this package, and come see — and taste — for yourself.
Enter Herb & Lou’s Infused Cubes. Herb and Lou were two gents who liked to pair good times with good cocktails. But their idea of a good time didn’t involve standing around mixing drinks all night, even though the drinks were Herb and Lou’s own original creations. So they came up with a method to pre-batch the mixers, which included some of the finest bitters and herbal mixtures money could buy. They didn’t batch them in bottles, nor in cans, but in ice cube trays. Before the party started, they’d freeze up a few trays full of their mixers, and when cocktail time arrived, all they had to do was pour out a shot of the desired spirit, add a cube and stir, shake, or simply let it sit in the glass and slowly reveal its flavors as it melted.
